Miss Maryland 2011 Contestant

On October 28-30, 2011, Jeanette Hordge will compete as a candidate for the Donald Trump, Miss Maryland USA 2012 Pageant in Bethesda, Maryland.
A native of Tampa, Florida, Jeanette Hordge is the youngest of six children who found her passion for community service and communications after creating and hosting her own television talk show entitled, The Diva J Way!
In efforts to gain a respectable reputation among her peers and community leaders Jeanette Hordge became an editorial columnist for the N-Touch Entertainment Newspaper published in Tampa, FL. This led to the coordination of social events for teens, where Jeanette Hordge hosted and marketed 500+ teens throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Today Jeanette’s journey continues, after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Howard University in 2010. Currently working as the Director of Marketing for DuBose Prosthodontics and the DuBose Institute for Dentistry, Jeanette exemplifies a commitment to the education of oral healthcare. Through working with dentists to develop awareness campaigns and forming long lasting relationships with patients, Jeanette Hordge has begun the development of a documentary about “African Americans in Dentistry” and the importance of dental healthcare within the Black Diaspora.
Jeanette is also the founder of DASH Coordinating and Marketing, LLC – a profitable business accessible to companies of all genres. Since its development, DASH seeks to create a multimedia approach to modern day marketing in order to promote innovative creations worldwide.
